Water Saving Toilets
Save Water - lots of it - by Updating to Water-Saving
Toilets
Water is a critical resource and toilets account for more
than 25% of all indoor water use. Water meters are being
installed to encourage water conservation and officials are
concerned that we may be at the beginning of a drought.
Start saving water now by replacing toilets in your home or
business.
Your local water district may offer a toilet rebate from $125 to
$200, depending on the product you purchase and availability of
funds. Call us for details.
It’s been 16 years since 1.6 gallon toilets were first
required. Those early generation units performed poorly.
Today, we sell only the models that perform:
- Flush completely
- Have good bowl cleaning action
- Are just about impossible to stop up
- Save surprising amounts of water
Our most popular model is the “comfort height” water saving
toilet with a larger flush valve and trapway. The toilet bowl is
2" higher than a standard toilet, making it easier on the knees
for sitting and standing up.
Toilets manufactured before 1992 use up to 7 gallons per
flush. Each old, water-wasting toilet you replace with a high
efficiency model can save you up to 26,000 gallons per year!
