Make McDonald Your First Air Conditioner Repair Call in Rio Linda

Every McDonald cooling and refrigeration technician is fully certified to diagnose and fix the full range of air conditioner brands.  We’ve been repairing and installing both home and commercial cooling systems throughout Rio Linda for over 50 years.

Lennox Air Conditioning RepairWhile every repair situation is unique, here are a few of the problems we’ve seen and solved for customers recently:

  • Units turn on or off unexpectedly
  • Malfunctioning or clogged drains can trap water inside
  • Improper installation can limit a system’s performance, shorten its life and increase your bills
  • Duct leaks will lower your system’s efficiency
  • Fuse or circuit problems
  • Airflow problems can affect your comfort and be evidence of more extensive problems

Only a thorough inspection can guarantee you get an accurate diagnosis—and repairs that will last.

It’s important to call a professional when you notice anything unusual about your air conditioner’s performance.  We’re often able to save you money by repairing small problems while they’re still small.  For example, a duct leak can lead to lost energy and higher bills.  Quick maintenance and repair visits will identify those problems and fix them.

Rio Linda’s Air Conditioning Installation Solution

In addition to installing your first air conditioner, there are several reasons you might need to install a new air condition or commercial cooling system.

In some cases, a space needs a different size or kind of unit.  A larger central air conditioning unit might serve a house better than the current window unit.  Or a commercial space could benefit from improved comfort zone cooling to control the temperatures for separate areas.

Do you find that your unit works but you need to make repair calls too often?  It could be time for a replacement.  Eventually, all cooling and refrigeration systems falter and stop working.

McDonald Plumbing, Heating and Air technicians will walk you through your options.  We’ll explain your best options for units that fit your energy, budget, space and style needs.

Rio Linda

Rio Linda is a community near Elverta and located on part of the Rancho Del Paso Mexican land grant of 1844. A Fruit Land Company of Minneapolis bought 12,000 acres of the land grant in 1910. The Rio Linda area was created when the land was divided in 1912, and then renamed in 1913. Rio Linda used to be called “Dry Creek Station” which was a popular stop for the Northern Electric Railroad. By 1920 Rio Linda was a booming poultry farming community. Modern day Rio Linda is still largely farmland and rural neighborhoods.
